Michael J. Lober was born in Merritt Island, Florida in 1965. He attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987, and then his law degree from Mercer’s Walter F. George School of Law in 1990. He was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1990 and the Florida Bar in 1992.
Practicing in both the transactional and litigation arena, Mike draws on his experience in both disciplines to help his business clients achieve their goals. In the litigation arena, Mike represents business in numerous types of commercial disputes, involving real estate, contracts, non-compete, employment disputes, business divorces, commercial litigation, etc. Mike has been admitted in federal court pro hac vice in numerous jurisdictions including New York, South Carolina, Nevada, New Jersey, Montana, West Virginia and Pennsylvania to assist his clients.
He has represented buyers, sellers and lenders in the purchase, sale, and financing of numerous apartment complexes, shopping centers, hotels, office and industrial acquisitions and loan transactions. From helping clients acquire hotels on the West Coast to buying manufacturing facilities in the Northeast to the sale of technology companies, Mike has represented diverse clients in a wide variety of transactions.
Additionally, Mr. Lober is experienced in governmental relations representing clients in government contracting, regulatory matters, as well as zoning and land use issues.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys coaching his daughters’ softball teams, bicycling, surfing, and playing softball.
